This focused module provides a comprehensive, evidence-based understanding of hamstring strain injuries — from mechanism and diagnosis to effective rehabilitation and return-to-play strategies. Participants will gain practical insights into identifying risk factors, differentiating between muscle strain and proximal tendinopathy, and applying advanced manual therapy and exercise interventions to support optimal recovery.
Learning Objectives
By the end of this 1-credit (≈1 hour) module, participants will be able to:
-
Understand the mechanisms, risk factors, and causes of hamstring injuries.
-
Recognize clinical signs and symptoms associated with hamstring strain and proximal tendinopathy.
